Mopar offers 2010 Dodge Challenger owners Drag Pak
Thursday, February 25th, 2010Mopar announced that it is offering a Drag Pak for the 2010 Dodge Challenger. This will be sold out quick as only 100 Drag Pak cars for the 2010 model will be built. It will follow the configuration to fit the NHR stock, Super Stock, and Comp Eliminator classes.
This is a racetrack only vehicle and not street legal. The tag price for the Dodge Challenger Drag Pak will be $39,999. Yes, racing still does not come cheap but for speed maniacs every penny spent for this purchase will be worth it. The car will get its power from a Hemi V8 that has 6.1L of displacement which will be paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual.
The 2010 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak will get inspiration from the current Challenger SRT8 but it will shed off about 1,000 pounds.
