The tuning firm has been known for their works on luxury car brands. Some of their creations include the SLR Perfectus, CLS Shark II from Mercedes, and they also recently tweaked the Cayenne by Porsche.

Looking at the released rendeding of the Lamborghini Aventador, it seems most panels have been redesigned except for the rear and the diffuser. ASMA also used their trademark big wheels for the design. ASMA designers also integrated with the top of the quarter panel and fender louvered vents, installed taillight jail bars, and totally redesigned the side skirts which will be extended to the quarter panels.

The look is quite radical looking at the three-quarter perspective of the Aventador by ASMA. The tuning company keeps everyone guessing with how they dealt with the front end of the Lamborghini. As like their other projects, it can get pretty crazy too for sure. Let us just all hope the Aventador will not be ruined in the end.

With the lower priced model, the new Audi A2 will be rivaling front drive Mercedes-Benz and BMW models. When it comes to style, though, details of the A2 will be retained. While it’s still unconfirmed, the car is expected to have a tall, one-box design. The new A2 will probably also showcase sleek, narrow tracks, just like its predecessor.

Audi Chairman Rupert Stradler confirmed that the company’s priority is to release an electric-drive version of the A2. He said that it’s possible for the company to use the A1 e-tron range extender set-up on the new model.  Meanwhile, more conventional versions of the model will be given ranges of 4-cylinder diesel and petrol engines. These engines are also available in the A1 model.

It needs to be noted that what made the Audi A2 “ahead of its time” were its lightweight aluminum spaceframe and notably smaller aspirations. According to Audi Talk, however, the original A2’s expensive technology didn’t make it attractive enough for practical consumers. So, while the new A2 looks more like a marriage between the A1 and A2 models, and while it seems that it take more after its mother (the A1), the new A2 might make the EV variant more affordable.

Most notable was Subaru Legacy’s performance during the safety performance tests. For this section, the Legacy proved itself as the safest car for passengers among all other cars in the lot. The car also received the highest rating during the Pedestrian Head Protection Test. Legacy also received the Euro NCAP (New Car Assessment) top five-star rating.

The EURO NCAP gave the Legacy its top rating because it proved to be the safest for passengers as well.  This was decided during the recent Australasian NCAP. It is also the “top safety pick” of the IIHAS (Insurance Institute of Highway Safety) in the United States. And there’s no reason for the car manufacturer to be surprised with these ratings.

Certainly, Subaru indulged in its safety measures. The Legacy was fitted with front and side airbags. It was also equipped with rear and front curtain airbags and mounted front-seat torso airbags. ABS, ESP and rollover sensors were also well accounted for.

In addition to its safety features, the 2010 Legacy is also notably the most spacious Legacy ever designed. It debuted in the New York Auto Show when it was released in the US, and it currently comes with a retail price tag of $19,995 to $29, 995.

Less cars sold means less profit for Lamborghini which filed a pretax loss of about $47.6 million in profits.

The economic recession that cascaded through the major markets around the globe resulted to a decrease in demand particularly in the United States and Europe. Another factor to look at is the weakness of the dollar and how this affected the order books of the luxury car manufacturer.

The company also attributes the drop in sales to two things. First, that most of their clients are from the finance industry which suffered a big hit. There might have been a big chunk of their market which cannot afford the Lambos anymore. The second factor can be being appropriate and sensitive during a difficult situation. It will be hard to drive a new Lamborghini while you see colleagues and other families who cannot even keep their jobs and support basic needs.

Even with the dismal sales performance, Lamborghini is up for the challenge to provide excellent future products. Their research and development spending is up by 32% and they still promise to launch one product every year.

Yes, racing still does not come cheap but for speed maniacs every penny spent for this purchase will be worth it. The car will get its power from a Hemi V8 that has 6.1L of displacement which will be paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual.

The 2010 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak will get inspiration from the current Challenger SRT8 but it will shed off about 1,000 pounds.

The car will be in stone white finish with functional scoop on its bonnet. Mopar will also install Dodge Viper like seats, and do some tricks with the windows, pedals, steering, brakes, and cooling modules.

Mopar has a long history supplying parts for Jeep, ram, Dodge, and Chrysler. They have been a household name since the rise of muscle cars back in the 1960’s.

Though some information has leaked about the Vision EfficientDynamics, the crowd still was in awe for the concept car’s design and commitment to efficiency.

The BMW creation runs on a system that is capable of drawing out 390 horsepower and an excellent torque of 590 lb-ft. This numbers come from the 163 horsepower 1.5L turbo diesel engine with 3 cylinders coupled with two electric motors depending on a lithium ion battery.

The hybrid capability of the Vision EfficientDynamics is not the only thing green about it. You also have to highlight the low emission numbers at 50 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The car can also run for 31 miles while relying on the electric motors alone.

BMW claims that the car can rush from 0 to 60 in just 4.8 seconds. That just means that going green doesn’t necessarily mean going slow on the road.

The Vision concept races the bar for competitions like the Toyota Prius, Chevrolet Volt, and the other hybrid concepts emerging from the other garages.

The design of the concept car is also jaw dropping. Aerodynamics is the obvious focus. It maximizes the architecture to cool the drivetrain but these can also close when not needed to further improve the airflow. The drag coefficient of the BMW concept is pegged at 0.22 while most production cars hit 0.24 on average today.
